An Historic Comparison

Your assignment this week asks you to post your edited versions of some sentences in need of proofreading.  As we attempt to recapture some lost time please consider this comparison from the reading I assigned.  Even these two images are food for thought and present these two famous American figures as opposites.  If you feel compelled, you may comment on the comparison the images present to us here.  I hope to see you all on next Monday after we set our clocks ahead on hour.....

  2. General Ulysses S. Grant and General Robert E. Lee were like the text stated, two very different yet alike figures. One thing these two pictures of these men differ that popped out to me first was that you can notice General Lee has somewhat of a straightened posture, almost like he is uncomfortable. Grant, on the other hand, is casually leaning up against a tree. I feel like this right here is a picture made of a thousand words of explanation because of for one, their different financial and social classes that they hailed from. The one who is standing up back straight is looking very proud. The one leaned up against a tree looking relaxed and rugged is Grant, The general whom hailed from a working class mountain or western frontier family. The postures in the pictures match the men's backgrounds.
